a village house,
LiresCa is an old farmhouse from the 19th century that belonged to our grandparents Lina and Juan, a building that has been restored preserving the charm of the Galician villages.
We have restored the house with all our heart, seeking harmony with the environment that surrounds us, and committed to sustainability.
For its restoration we used the original stone masonry of the house, we opted for noble materials for carpentry and furniture and we reused wood from mussel rafts which, used as ventilated facades, allows us to improve energy efficiency.
To our environment, to our community, to our guests.
LiresCa is an energy efficient house: it features aerothermal energy for the underfloor heating, ventilated facades made of reused mussel raft wood, maximum efficiency equipment and lighting as well as minimal generation of waste.
We support social initiatives, maintaining close ties of collaboration and work with non-profit associations that promote culture, social integration and respect for the environment.
In this union between the ancestral and the modern, we have opted for maximum quality and comfort, providing the house and the rooms with all the amenities that guarantee our guests a unique and unforgettable experience.
Our house is located in Lires, in the heart of A Costa da Morte.
The Pilgrim’s Route of the Way of St. James that leads from Finisterre to Muxía passes through our door. The Route and the Way of the Lighthouses (stage 8: Nemiña-Cabo Finisterre) also pass through here, as well as several hiking and mountain biking routes.
If you like hiking or cycling routes, we can provide you with information about the nearest routes and we can also put you in contact with local active tourism companies.
In LiresCa you can taste the most traditional and authentic gastronomy of A Costa da Morte. This is village cuisine. Simply prepared with a personal touch, and where the protagonists are the local, fresh and local products, from the sea and the land that surrounds us.
In our breakfasts, the essentials are good coffee, home-made pastries, fruit, and bread baked in a wood-fired oven accompanied by homemade jams and honey.
In addition to the dishes on the menu, we prepare picnics for the Camino with sandwiches, fruit and drinks.
We have alternatives for intolerances and allergies.
