LiresCa,
a village house,
an experience,
a commitment

Our history of land and sea

LiresCa is an old farmhouse from the 19th century that belonged to our grandparents Lina and Juan, a building  that has been restored preserving the charm of the Galician villages.

We have restored the house with all our heart, seeking harmony with the environment that surrounds us, and committed to sustainability.

For its restoration we used the original stone masonry of the house, we opted for noble materials for carpentry and furniture and we reused wood from mussel rafts which, used as ventilated facades, allows us to improve energy efficiency.

Our commitment

To our environment, to our community, to our guests.

LiresCa is an energy efficient house: it features aerothermal energy for the underfloor heating, ventilated facades made of reused mussel raft wood, maximum efficiency equipment and lighting as well as minimal generation of waste.

We support social initiatives, maintaining close ties of collaboration and work with non-profit associations that promote culture, social integration and respect for the environment.

In this union between the ancestral and the modern, we have opted for maximum quality and comfort, providing the house and the rooms with all the amenities that guarantee our guests a unique and unforgettable experience.

Exceptional ☺ Liresca is a well run, clean and lovely property run by a very attentive and welcoming lady, who's name I failed to ask. So sorry. The property is immaculate and we felt very welcome. We had a wonderful breakfast before leaving, unfortunately the chef was ill so we had to eat dinner elsewhere. The reviews regarding food/dinner are very good and we would have loved to tasted some of their fare, perhaps another time! The property is situated right on the Camino Muxia. Our bocadillo at lunchtime was great. ☹ Nothing to dislike.

Excellent location - very clean and comfortable ☺ Lovely hotel. Good rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Very helpful marking our bags and holding an item I had forgotten elsewhere. Lovely views. Good room rate. My food was excellent and I was very happy and satisfied - but my husband’s was a very small portion and after walking on the Camino he was hungry. Initially they weren’t too keen to add an extra portion of chips but did then decide to do this and were in the end helpful and OK about it. ☹ Very good but a little on the expensive side. The cheese platter was tasty but again very small as were the croquettes 6 tiny ones on the mediana. On the whole in Spain the dishes are usually too huge but for the price here portions are a tad small. As a comparison- the cheese board was €8 and very small, but today staying at the Parador we ordered similar and it was so huge we could could hardly finish it and it was only €9. With the location and the Parador name we expected to be charged accordingly as they naturally command a higher price tag so it put our experience yesterday into perspective.
